The Trip for a Lifetime: Day 1

Normally we would say "The Trip of a Lifetime", but we are on a trip that may seem like it's lasting a lifetime. This trip is different than most in that everyone is on the same trip. Some people might call it an adventure other would call it a nightmare. there is one thing for sure, we are taking a trip into uncharted territory. We are traveling a road that seems to go nowhere and also seems to never end. The bus we got on showed up for us here in Texas about 10 days ago....

We are so used to putting in the beginning and ending coordinates into our GPS system, knowing we will arrive at our destination. If we are familiar enough with our surroundings we might even set out on our own. This is that method most of us tend to use.

This trip we are on is much different than the others. We have no real reference points. There is so much uncertainty and confusion. Many around us who are on this same journey are lost. They are panicking. They are following the crowd. All of us want to know what's around the next curve or over the next hill, but the possibilities are unknowns.

How are you going to arrive at your destination? I have a good friend who says, "you don't have to know where you are going if you have a good guide." I want to encourage you my guide service. It's been in service for over 2000 years. It is called "The Way"and it uses a different GPS system, God's Positioning System. The slogan is "I am the way, the truth, and the life."

We we travel on this trip ( I choose to call it an adventure not a nightmare) it may last for days, weeks, or months. You can come on board with me and find out things about ourselves and those we might encounter along the way.

Jesus explained, “I am the Way, I am the Truth, and I am the Life. No one comes next to the Father except through union with me. To know me is to know my Father too. John 14: 6
